Retaining Subscribers

Problem

There are many labor migrants in the mobile carrier’s country. They leave for another country and change the carrier. In our experience, up to 10 % of the subscriber base churns away for this reason.

Subscribers themselves also face a problem. They either have to change their phone number or call at roaming prices. Communicating with family is inconvenient or expensive.

Solution

Subscribers register in Polyphone with their home SIM card and call via mobile Internet or Wi-Fi. A SIM card is no longer needed in the new country.

Users can make calls to mobile and landline numbers as well as within Polyphone. Subscribers communicate with relatives at reduced rates and only pay the local operator for data.
